I visited South Padre Island for the first time in 1998. I purchased my first slice of Island paradise in 2004 and have been an owner of both rental and residential property.
After a variety of careers (musician, educator of gifted & talented students, librarian, and technology specialist), I obtained my real estate license in 2013 and moved to SPI as a full-time resident.

Carmen was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas. She graduated from St. Joseph's Academy. From UT-B, she holds a Bachelor of Arts Major in Spanish. From 1992-1997 Carmen worked as a bilingual teacher for BISD. She is also a notary public.
